Anu Agarwal was elected as an Executive Committee member of ONE (SINGAPORE) at the 2019 Annual General Meeting. She works at Argus Media, heading the company’s Asia-Pacific editorial team.
Grateful for the opportunities that have afforded her personal and professional growth, Anu firmly believes opportunity is often more important than talent, and that opportunities must be provided to people from disadvantaged backgrounds. She also understands poverty can be hiding in plain sight. As an Executive Committee member of ONE (SINGAPORE), Anu is committed to shining a light on poverty, wherever it exists, and working to Make Poverty History, through giving and action.
Anu has been involved for many years with NGOs based in India that provide education to children living in urban slums, vocational training to marginalized women, basic needs for impoverished families as well as rural lighting for those without electricity.
